Early Modern Women An Interdisciplinary Journal invites submissions of articles on the topic of women and gender in the early modern period, 1400-1750. The Journal has now established an award of $1000 for the best article in each issue:
The Forum for Volume 8 will commemorate the 40th anniversary of Joan Kelly?s
?Did Women Have a Renaissance??
Topics to be considered may include: questions of periodization (medieval and Renaissance) in the study of early modern women; the shift between these historical periods as viewed by different disciplines; the validity of the term « Renaissance? in a global context. Other topics inspired by Kelly »s article are welcome.
