Comment la litt\u00e9rature, l\u2019histoire, le cin\u00e9ma, les arts montrent-ils la femme puissante\u00a0et \u00e0 quelles fins\u00a0? Quelles influences morales, sociales et politiques se devinent dans la production et la r\u00e9ception de ces images selon les \u00e9poques\u00a0?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Champs disciplinaires concern\u00e9s\u00a0: litt\u00e9rature, histoire, cin\u00e9ma, t\u00e9l\u00e9vision, arts plastiques et visuels, histoire des arts<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Propositions (300 mots) \u00e0 envoyer en fran\u00e7ais ou en anglais pour le 01 f\u00e9vrier 2017\u00a0\u00e0<\/strong> <br \/><a href=\"mailto:agnes.cousson@univ-brest.fr\">agnes.cousson@univ-brest.fr<\/a>; <a href=\"mailto:elizabeth.mullen@univ-brest.fr\">elizabeth.mullen@univ-brest.fr<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Dark Side of the Force: Negative Representations of Women in Power<br \/>Catherine de Medicis, Margeret Thatcher, Lady Macbeth: traditionally women in power are often represented as negative or even evil forces. Whether clich\u00e9 or reality, images of women in power are often linked to treachery, manipulation or violence, suggesting an imaginary marked by fear of powerful women.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This day-long conference aims to examine the articulation between women and power, focusing on negative representations of powerful women. How are powerful women represented in literature, history, cinema, television and the visual arts, and to what ends?
