<\/span>L’axe \u00ab Genre\u00ab du LabEx organise une premi\u00e8re rencontre qui sera l’occasion de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 l’\u00e9criture d’une \u00bbhistoire genr\u00e9e de l’Europe \u00bb. La journ\u00e9e d’\u00e9tude aura lieu \u00e0 l’Institut historique allemand, \u00e0 Paris, les 27 et 28 juin prochains.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span>La premi\u00e8re manifestation de l’axe \u00ab Genre \u00bb du LabEx EHNE souhaite r\u00e9unir les chercheurs.ses qui, les premiers.\u00e8res, ont pos\u00e9 les jalons d’une \u00e9tude des Europ\u00e9ennes, dans certains cas avec une approche comparatiste \u00e0 l’\u00e9chelle du continent. Cette journ\u00e9e d’\u00e9tude sera l’occasion de croiser la litt\u00e9rature existante europ\u00e9enne et nord-am\u00e9ricaine, portant sur diff\u00e9rents pays europ\u00e9ens. Elle sera l’occasion de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir ensemble \u00e0 l’\u00e9criture d’une histoire genr\u00e9e de l’Europe. Cette r\u00e9flexion pourra s’articuler autour des questions suivantes : quels ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les effets de genre dans la fa\u00e7on de penser et de construire l’Europe \u00ab Que signifie \u00eatre Europ\u00e9en.ne.s et comment vit-on en Europe selon qu’on soit femme ou homme\u00ab Le prisme du genre permet-il de faire appara\u00eetre ? plusieurs ? Europes \u00bb Les fronti\u00e8res culturelles ou religieuses qui traversent le continent ont-elles des r\u00e9percussions sur l’histoire du genre, sur les normes impos\u00e9es aux femmes et aux hommes \u00bb D’un point de vue \u00e9pist\u00e9mologique, on pourra poser la question de l’influence des diff\u00e9rents courants scientifiques sur la lecture d’une histoire genr\u00e9e de l’Europe.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span>Our workshop<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/strong>The members of LabEx \u00ab Writing a new history of Europe \u00bb (\u00ab \u00c9crire une histoire nouvelle de l’Europe \u00bb) plan a long-time research agenda on a gendered history of Europe. The first step of our project will be to bring together the researchers who pioneered the study of a gendered European history during an international workshop that will take place at the German Historical Institute in Paris (27-28 June 2013). It will be an opportunity to reflect on a gendered history of Europe. Our reflection will be based on several interrogations. How does gender impact on our way of conceiving and building Europe\u00ab What does ?being European’ mean, and how do women and men live in Europe depending on their sexual and gendered identity \u00bb Are there several Europe(s) if we consider the history of the continent with the gender lens’ An interdisciplinary approach in gender studies, combining history and other social sciences, will allow us to tackle these questions.<\/span><\/div>\n
