{"id":2547,"date":"2013-06-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-06-15T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/20659"},"modified":"2013-06-15T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2013-06-15T00:00:00","slug":"tat-prsent-for-french-16th-century-studies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/siefar.org\/gb\/tat-prsent-for-french-16th-century-studies\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;\u00c9tat pr\u00e9sent&#8221; for French 16th-century studies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"corpsTexte\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><em>The French Review <\/em>will publish an &#8220;\u00c9tat pr\u00e9sent&#8221; for French 16th-century studies.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"corpsTexte\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><\/span><br type=\"_moz\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"corpsTexte\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Several colleagues have agreed to review criticism in the following areas: George Hoffmann on Montaigne, David LaGuardia on prose (m\u00e9moires, registres journaux, nouvelles&#8230;), Kathleen Long on the literature of the Wars of Religion, Todd Reeser on Rabelais, Fran\u00e7ois Rouget on Ronsard, and <strong>Colette Winn on women writers<\/strong>. Cathy Yandell will write an introductory section on thematic and methodological trends in the field.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"corpsTexte\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><\/span><br type=\"_moz\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"corpsTexte\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The \u00c9tat pr\u00e9sent will concentrate on critical works produced by scholars working in North America and published during the past five years. If you are the author or editor of a book on 16th-century French literature or culture (published in that time frame), you are invited to send the necessary bibliographic information. Any ideas you have about what should be included in terms of themes and methodology would also be most welcome.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"corpsTexte\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"corpsTexte\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"corpsTexte\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Please send all information to Cathy Yandell at <a href=\"mailto:cyandell@carleton.edu\" _fcksavedurl=\"mailto:cyandell@carleton.edu\">cyandell@carleton.edu<\/a> by 15 June, and she will make sure that the works are included in the bibliography.
