Qu&#8217;elle soit feutr\u00e9e ou violente, qu&#8217;elle prenne un tour s\u00e9rieux ou cocasse, qu&#8217;elle en appelle aux raisonnements ou aux \u00e9motions, qu&#8217;elle s&#8217;exprime en trait\u00e9s, pamphlets, pi\u00e8ces de th\u00e9\u00e2tre, romans, tableaux\u00ab , elle a port\u00e9 sur \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s tous les terrains, du pouvoir supr\u00eame aux relations amoureuses, en passant par le travail, la famille, le mariage, l&#8217;\u00e9ducation, le corps, l&#8217;art, la langue, la religion&#8217; Loin d&#8217;\u00eatre un ? jeu litt\u00e9raire \u00bb, comme on l&#8217;a parfois dit, elle s&#8217;est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e en \u00e9cho aux efforts concrets des acteurs et actrices de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 pour emp\u00eacher, ou au contraire pour permettre l&#8217;acc\u00e8s des femmes et des hommes aux m\u00eames activit\u00e9s, aux m\u00eames droits, aux m\u00eames pouvoirs, aux m\u00eames richesses, \u00e0 la m\u00eame reconnaissance. Et elle a durablement format\u00e9 nos soci\u00e9t\u00e9s et nos esprits quant aux mani\u00e8res de penser et d&#8217;organiser les relations entre les sexes.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"corpsTexte\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"corpsTexte\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Ce vaste pan de notre histoire est pourtant fort mal connu. C&#8217;est \u00e0 son r\u00e9examen qu&#8217;invite le pr\u00e9sent volume, premier d&#8217;une s\u00e9rie qui remontera le temps vers les origines de cette controverse.
