Depuis 1984, la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d’\u00e9tude du XVIIe Si\u00e8cle d\u00e9cerne, chaque ann\u00e9e, un Prix XVIIe Si\u00e8cle assorti d’une somme de 2300 euros. Ayant pour but d’encourager la diffusion d’un savoir rigoureux aupr\u00e8s du plus large public, ce Prix r\u00e9compense, sans exclusive de discipline, un ouvrage traitant du XVIIe si\u00e8cle, paru l’ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente.
