First performed in 1694 at the Paris Opera,\u00a0<em><span class=\"s1\">Circ\u00e9<\/span><\/em>\u00a0features a libretto by renowned poet <strong>Louise-Genevi\u00e8ve Gillot de Saintonge<\/strong>.
